There's another version out there that I like for the quality of the game called proxx.app which ALWAYS starts you with an empty cell, so you have some semblance of ability on the early moves. However, it doesn't have the stats/data/quests/etc of minsweeper online, so....nothing is perfect. Source: about 2 years ago

You could use Role it is a full fledged VTT that allows you to play with other people online and create your own character sheets using a simple visual editor or import character sheets made by the community (you can also duplicate a sheet made by the community and tweak it to your like).
