  • REM Sleep Is Magical. Here’s What the Experts Know
There was a device called the Dreem headband that used EEG and bone conduction earphones to play special tones at specific points of your sleep cycle, the goal being to extend the REM segments. Unfortunately that function was software limited to the EU market for whatever reason and then they stopped selling it to the public. • A question about Bluetooth, and agressive battery management.
I use a sleep helmet , one of These which connects via Bluetooth. On my previous OnePlus phones this has never been an issue, I have to disable location to get it to bind quickly, but apart from that it has always "just worked" with the 7Pro, it connects, downloads data and then disconnects so quickly that if I do not immediately start a session, I have to pair it again & start from scratch. • Turn a Raspberry Pi into a Brain-Computer-Interface to Measure Biosignals
If you want sleep tracking, you can use Muse S [0]. You can stream EEG readings in real-time using [1]. However it's really, really hard to get _useful_ data about one's sleep. The results computed by Muse are garbage. The only successful product I know is Dreem [2] but they've exited the consumer market. At the moment, I think the easiest way is to get an ECG (yep, for the heart, not the head) and process the... - Source: Hacker News / over 3 years ago
