This is an update project which expands upon the patched Winamp 5.666 release by fixing issues with as well as providing new features and just doing something to help keep Winamp alive!

How UTTERLY UNINSPIRING and boring compared to the designs of talented Winamp skinners of yore https://skins.webamp.org. - Source: Hacker News / 10 days ago
Yes, but the skins didn't rearrange anything (as opposed to some other players). It was just a different "texture". See: https://skins.webamp.org/. - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
It's fantastic. I can easily spend hours on the skins website. https://skins.webamp.org/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Or better yet, skins[0]! Have your software read textures from areas in a big image, then let the user replace the image. Forest theme for Microsoft Teams! SciFi file explorer! I tried using MidJourney to generate exaggerated UI themes (not skins, just general themes for inspiration), but the results were disappointing. They were always gorgeous[1], but my prompt engineering skills couldn't coax it to use space... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
Do you have the links to the skins on the museum? I believe you can link individual skins. Source: almost 2 years ago
I've been using WACUP, it's really good: https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
I use the community update of Winamp, WACUP, and it's excellent. I've tried other media players but always come back here. I'm not even one of those people who likes the shitty visualisations, I just think the interface works perfectly. https://getwacup.com/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Obligatory mention of the current fork of winamp: WACUP https://getwacup.com/ Based on core that was open sourced around Winamp 3 DrO one of the ex devs is gradually re-implementing all the other parts. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
FWIW, a reimplementation is available: https://getwacup.com/ (I'm unsure how long it'll last) Nevertheless, This may a good time you get to say bye-bye to Winamp. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
I made this Winamp skin based on the design concept in "Diablo II: Resurrected & Remixed". It's a Modern skin, so requires Winamp 5 (or WACUP). The skin can be downloaded from my site. Source: almost 2 years ago
