  Believe it or not, REinstall the MEGAsync application, then right-click the MEGA folder in the navigation pane and remove it.   3rd party uninstallers are a thing that can help a bit if you wish to do full removal. I remember liking GeekUninstaller in the past. Small footprint and did not mess anything up while being fairly reliable with detecting folders/reg keys. • I've managed to get synapse to download, but when it tries to start up I get this CMD prompt then it fails. Any way to fix this?

  I've only ever used Synapse 2, and don't have any Razer hardware at the moment. I would suggest using Geek Uninstaller first, as it can remove registry entries and junk files as well. Then reinstall Synapse with a fresh download. Source: over 2 years ago

  Btw. I can recommend you to download Geek Uninstaller. It's a tiny program which doesn't require installation (just a single *.exe file) which scans for leftover traces and registry files when using it to unistall programs. It has helped my ocd a lot on this point, but it sadly has created a new one too. Now I fear I remove too much and make the system unstable, so I always check the list before pressing delete. • Frustrating cmd prompt window keeps popping up causing fullscreen apps/games to minimize.

  So - this isn't normal behavior for Firefox, popping up cmd windows at random. Consider backing up the places.sqlite file, located in C:\Users\M_____a\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default-release. This is the combined bookmarks and history file. • dumb question, but is there any negative effect of directly deleting the folder of a pirated game instead of properly uninstalling it from the apps section or from the uninstaller in the folder

  When you do that it will leave some left over files in the system, such as the system will still think its installed but when you go to uninstall it can fail.
