Then after trying 3 more realtors, decided to do my own research and just contact the realtor or brokerage related to the property on strata.ca.     It's best to look for places on kijiji, viewit, or strata.ca. $1600- $1800 tells me you're looking at places just east of TMU next to the unsafe areas with addicts. I sold my SUV and rarely miss it - public transit is much better than American cities other than NYC - I moved from Alberta aka Texas of the north!     It sounds like you want to live together but there is dorm life - have you checked out UofT summer residences? What part of the city is your internship - I may have more ideas.
